John Percival Marine Associates (JPMA) is a leading maritime school based in Northwest England.
Named after the late, great Captain John Percival, JPMA/Hoylake Sailing School offers an extensive range of MCA and RYA-approved training courses to yacht crew, merchant navy and workboat professionals.
The business is made up of a group of experienced marine professionals and small craft practitioners, most of whom are master mariners or chief engineers who hold, or have held, senior positions within the marine industry, and have wide experience of sailing and power cruising in the UK and overseas.
UK crew training school: Home of the original MCA oral prepJohn Percival Marine Associates specialises in preparation for MCA oral exams for both deck and engineering departments, with a high first time pass rate. They also offer most of the written MCA Yacht modules for deck departments, up to MCA Master <3000GT and MCA Engineering up to Y2.
