I recommend Brazil Yacht Services for all bureaucratic, concierge and port-related services associated with marine operations in Brazil. As mission manager for M/V Alucia, I work very closely with agents on all aspects of missions, from planning to permit acquisition to implementation of all details associated with a successful trip. Prior to being referred to Brazil Yacht Services, I had appointed a different agent to manage our trip. After several road blocks, this agent finally conceding to the fact that they would not be able to obtain permits for M/V Alucia to enter Brazilian waters and complete the five missions planned. This left us very far behind at the time and I contacted Brazil Yacht Services. Brazil Yacht Services not only got the job done, but did an amazing job. Every step of the way they were very honest about the process and the likelihood of success. They were extremely responsive and available at all times of day or night. Not only did we receive top-notch service from them personally, but they appointed the very best local agents in each of the seven ports M/V Alucia called in, providing us with invaluable local expertise everywhere the ship was. They went above and beyond in every aspect, leaving no detail overlooked. From providing a bilingual agent representative to take the crew shopping to providing the absolute best price on fuel for bunkering, every single aspect of each trip was down to the minute detail – no request was too big or too small. I am confident that without Brazil Yacht Services swift action and intimate understanding of the very complicated Brazilian bureaucracy, M/V Alucia would not have acquired the necessary permits for the planned missions. And I am quite sure that without their amazing attention to detail and true caring for the success of their clients and their goals, our missions would not have been the astounding success they were. Worked on a very short notice
M/Y Meduse had the pleasure of visiting Brazil earlier this year. With some very short notice we contacted BYS and requested their assistance for a wide variety of services. BYS appointed Fabrizio Ottoni Limena as our on-scene contact for the company. Every day was a challenge for BYS as our plans kept changing on a daily bases. In the end, Meduse spent approximately 1 month in Brazil and I can say that it would have been a completely different and difficult experience for us. BYS services assured that it was a smooth visit. I and the whole crew, had a fantastic experience with Adam, Frabrizio and those working in the background. I therefore would like to recommend.
