90% of yacht berths sold out at Yas Marina for Formula 1 Grand Prix

With berths selling at record rates, a full house is expected at Yas Marina, for this year’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix taking place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd November. With an extremely limited amount of berths remaining and an impressive entertainment line-up, Yas Marina is shaping up for Abu Dhabi’s biggest and most glamorous social and sporting event of the year with activities and entertainment options both onshore and offshore.

Yas Marina, operated and managed by Camper & Nicholsons Marinas, announced that 90% of berths for the race weekend have already been sold and this year will host some of the world’s most impressive superyachts.

Yas Marina is set to be the epicentre of the action offering a plethora of entertainment onshore for those without a yacht. This includes seven licensed restaurants and lounges catering for all tastes, budgets and clientele over the busy weekend.

Back by popular demand this year is the Yas Marina Lounge by G.H. Mumm with a live jazz band and internationally acclaimed Amber Lounge, the bespoke Grand Prix after-party hospitality venue with live performances and international DJ sets.

Cedric Le Rest, general manager at Yas Marina said, “Yas Marina is set to offer something for everyone at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. We look forward to welcoming families, party goers, yachting enthusiasts, the A-list crowd and many more to our beautiful Marina.”

In terms of transport, as paid parking is limited throughout the weekend at the marina, the use of taxis, public transport and Uber services are strongly encouraged.

For those interested in yacht berthing, the starting rate is 11,435 AED and includes Yas Marina guest and crew passes, access to the nightly after race concerts, the public pit lane walk on Thursday and access to the Oasis Areas of Yas Marina Circuit.
