Abell Point Marina gears up for Coral Coast Rally & Race

Abell Point Marina Australia is gearing up for the fast approaching Coral Coast Race and Rally 2014, with entry forms and notice of race now available. This year’s race is held from the 3rd to 9th June at the Abell Point Yacht Club. 

In a bid to beat the rush on the weekend of the race, Abell Point Marina is offering a 50% discount to visiting boats for the week preceding the event to allow for participants outside the region to bring their boat in advance.

The Whitsunday Sailing Club is also holding the Monte’s Reef Resort Race on 31^st May with boats staying overnight in the Gloucester Passage anchorage. For those wishing to join please email the Whitsunday Sailing Club.

The Rally will depart Abell Point Marina on Tuesday 3rd June. The race is scheduled to begin at 11:00am on the Friday 6^th June.

The Abell Point Yacht Club looks forward to welcoming new and past participants at our official functions to be held at Sorrento Bar and Restaurant on Monday 2^nd June for the rally and the compulsory race brief on Thursday 5^th June.
