AkzoNobel has announced the extension of its International Toplac range of high-performance paints, with the introduction of two new colours - both of which were launched at the 2017 London Boat Show yesterday.
‘Woodward Green 139’ and ‘Platinum 151’ are Toplac single component paints with a long-lasting, high-gloss finish, which, according to AzkoNobel is noted for its performance and ease of use.
AkzoNobel’s product manager Amanda Atkinson explained, “We have introduced two new colours to the popular Toplac colour range; Woodward Green 139 and Platinum 151.
“AkzoNobel is a leading global paint and coatings supplier, and our International Toplac range has provided boat owners with proven solutions to protect, beautify and reduce boat maintenance for many years.
“With the extended Toplac colour range we now offer boat owners an even richer variety of colour tones to accentuate the aesthetics of their boat.”
Woodward Green has been named after the company’s retired account manager Bryn Woodward, in recognition of over 20 years’ service. Woodward worked on the Toplac coatings range since its launch and over the years has run numerous painting workshops at the London Boat Show.
Woodward commented, “I’m honoured, humbled and very happy and this colour will go down as one of my favourites!”
Atkinson added, “It was fitting that we should acknowledge the dedication that Bryn has shown over the years, and we will now always be reminded to his contribution to the success of Toplac.”
Toplac is available in 750ml and 2.5lt packs, colour and country dependent.
