Spanish yacht design studio, Alex Pirard Design has unveiled its latest superyacht concept, the 65m MY 215; a high performance yacht, created with uninterrupted lines to deliver a sleek exterior with large open areas.
MY 215’s high performance propulsion will come from her KaMeWa waterjets, assisted by three MTU engines, which will allow her to reach a top speed of 30 knots.
Aboard, her upper deck provides a walk-around deck layout, where guests will be able to access both the forward and aft exterior areas. Forward of the cockpit she has a bimini that is hydraulically raised in order to shade guests who are wanting to relax in private. The aft-facing deck provides a second lounge area with views of the yacht with low bulwarks while she is underway.
On the main deck aft, the long overhang of the upper deck houses two exhaust outlets, and an extendable hard-top awning made from carbon fibre and glass paneling. This allows guests to enjoy the exterior deck areas regardless of the time of day or season.
Inside, the MY 215 is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests across five staterooms and a luxury owner’s suite with two foldable terraces. The layout, décor and interior features are said by Pirard to be completely customisable.
The new concept superyacht will be manned by a crew of 12.
