American boat builder, All Ocean Yachts, has announced the newest addition to their superyacht explorer range: the 40m Ocean Rover. Designed by Bray Yacht Design, the robust vessel is intended for charter in any location around the world.
John Decaro of All Ocean Yachts, Winston Clarke, ex-captain of M/Y Big Fish, , Michael Kirschstein Design and D2 Project Management were assembled together to develop the new hull upon Pat Bray’s efficient platform. Once complete, she will offer opportunity for cruising in remote locations, providing scientific and charter opportunities around the world.
Ocean Rover is extremely customisable, with her design housing a large amount of glass to offer exceptional views out over the ocean. The owner’s deck will be located behind the bridge, with four more cabins located on her lower deck. There will also be a large variety of watersport toys, and she is capable of housing a helicopter-landing pad aboard.
The new design will be fitted with a range of eco-friendly features, including solar cells and shaft generators that are connected to the latest TESLA battery power system. This arrangement reduces the need for a large generator, further enhancing the operation of the vessel while she cruises through various weather conditions.
