In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
During last month’s Monaco Yacht Show, Dutch yard Amels announced it has taken an order for a fully custom 78m superyacht.
The as-yet unnamed vessel is due to launch in 2021 with exterior styling by Espen Oeino and interiors by Francois Zuretti.
There are currently few details at this early stage of the project, but exterior relaxation areas will be in plentiful supply. It is known that the foredeck will feature a rectangular spa pool and large sunbathing area, while the upper deck aft will also have its own spa pool and sundeck.
It marks the first project Oeino’s team has been involved in with Amels, having developed both the exterior design and general arrangement. Oeino commented, “We are very impressed by the knowhow and professionalism that the Amels custom yachts team have displayed during the design development and negotiations and look forward to working together towards making this vessel a unique custom yacht we all can be proud of.”
Discussing interior, Zuretti described the décor as “contemporary, comfortable, functional… with distinct ethnic notes.”
Amels has announced that the inner volume of the 78m superyacht will be 2,850GT, which will make it the largest yacht by volume the yard has produced.
Other superyacht projects currently in works at the Dutch yard include the first of the new 57.7m Amels 188 Limited Edition yachts, due for delivery during 2018.
