Amels launches 55m superyacht Lili

Dutch shipyard Amels has launched the latest superyacht from its Limited Editions 180 range, 55m Lili.

Originally sold in April last year, Lili is currently due to be delivered before the end of this year. Lili comprises a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with exterior design by Tim Heywood, and interiors completed by Laura Sessa Design. Imperial Yachts are representing her owner and provided construction supervisory support throughout her build.

Rose Damen, commercial director at AMELS commented, “The AMELS 180 has proven highly popular on the superyacht market and Lili will add to that with her many unique customisations and beautiful colour scheme. She is an exceptionally high quality yacht that will no doubt create many happy memories for her owners and guests.”

Julia Stewart, director at Imperial yachts also said of Lili, “She is another striking project jointly made with an experienced team and very talented people confirming our strong and suitable links with AMELS.”

Standout features on board include a number of folding balconies, and extended sundeck measuring 175 square metres, which includes a four-metre swimming pool. There is also a private aft deck on board, able to be accessed from the owner’s suite.

Accommodation is available for 12 guests in six staterooms, which include the owner’s cabin located on the bridge deck, three double rooms and two twin rooms below deck. Crew quarters then allow for up to 12 staff.

Lili is powered by two 1,308 MTU 16V 2000 M70 diesel engines, and is able to reach a top speed of 15.5 knots. She is able to reach a maximum cruising range of 4,500nm when travelling at 13 knots.
