Dutch shipbuilder, Amels, has revealed images of the latest superyacht project to be completed at their shipyard facilities in Vlissingen, Netherlands, after the completion of her paintwork.
The 55m Amels Limited Editions 180 features design work by Tim Heywood and beautiful dark blue paintwork, which was revealed during a meticulous ‘RoFlo’ launch at the yard.
The launch saw the hull first moved from the Amels climate-controlled halls onto a floating pontoon, before she was moved onto a floating drydock, which submerged to allow the 570-tonne yacht to float ceremoniously.
The superyacht features side-opening balconies to allow for easy viewing of the ocean and its landscape, as well as a touch-and-go helipad, large swimming platform with beach club and steam room, and hot tub on her 155 square-metre sun deck.
Nuvolari Lenard and Laura Sessa undertook the impressive interior design and décor of the vessel.
Amels commented on the delivery saying, “The successful (and exactly on schedule) launch proves once again how smoothly the Amels Limited Editions concept works – higher quality, lower technical risk and faster delivery! Proud owners and Amels team; great work!”
