An invitation to join the French Tribute Ride

Cogs4Cancer, an organisation created by yachting individuals with the aim to raise money for chosen charities, is inviting the industry to join them in the final stretch for the French Tribute Ride.

This opportunity, will allow cyclists to join the 24 charity riders on the final day, the 9th October, in a Tribute Ride from La Ciotat to the finish line in Antibes. Tribute riders are required to raise a minimum of €350, of which €50 is for the Cogs4Cancer cycling jersey. The rest of the money raised will go to cancer charities chosen by the organisation; Cancer Research UK, L’Archet Hospital in Nice, Cancer Support Group 06 and Clinique Tzanck Wellbeing.

Last year, 70 tribute riders came together to cycle alongside the 16 riders on the last stage from San Remo, Italy, to Antibes. The atmosphere was electric and every superyacht berthed on the IYCA blew its horn amongst the hundreds of people gathered to show support.

Tribute riders will have the option of cycling either a long distance ride of 187km, or a short distance ride of 80km. Cogs4Cancer currently have 150 spaces for this event, and encourage you to express your interest promptly to avoid disappointment.
