In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Sherpa, the newest model of the Arcadia Yachts’ fleet, will make her world premier during the Boot Düsseldorf boat show in January 2016 after her scheduled launch, which is due to take place next month.
After completing lamination in August 2015, and with her hull and superstructure already visible upon her move to outfitting at the shipyard in October, the yacht is well underway to completion.
Once launched, and upon completion of all class endurance runs, Sherpa will be loaded onto a transport vessel where she will be taken to Rotterdam at the end of the year. From there she will sail up the Rhine to Düsseldorf, where she will be lifted onto a cradle and moved to the exhibition hall for the boat show, which takes place between the 23rd and 31st January 2016.
Working closely with Volvo Penta, Arcadia Yachts has developed what is a highly efficient hull that has been developed by numerous new technical studies. Sherpa has an LOA of 16.8m, and a beam of 5.5m
The new Arcadia offering is available with a tender garage, which, particularly impressive for a vessel of this size, will provide a volume of 247 cubic feet. Furthermore, she comes with two superstructure options: An open deck for day cruising, or a salon deck for long-distance cruising.
Hull number two of the Sherpa model is currently under construction with a scheduled delivery date of March 2016.
