Akzo Nobel’s world leading manufacturer of yacht coatings, Awlgrip, hosted its third annual Yacht Management Symposium in London last month.
As with previous years, the Yacht Management Symposium included a series of open panel sessions and presentations from Awlgrip representatives. A new addition to the event this year, Awlgrip’s sister brand, ‘International’ was also present. Topics covered by the brands ranged from new products, topcoat repairs, project management and case studies.
Chris Toole, Awlgrip global brand manager commented: “Continuing on from the highly successful yacht management events we have previously hosted in London as well as in Florida, this latest session has further grown and cemented our partnerships with many management companies. It has also been a great opportunity for us to expand and extend our relationships with first-time attendees.
“Once again, we have been lucky to be able to attract some really great names and companies to this event, showing the continued value of these symposiums to all involved. Together through the panel sessions and interactions we continue to work, closely, towards our joint goals.”
Delegates included representatives from Burgess Yachts, Braemar, SE Marine, John Winterbotham & Partners, YPI Group, Fraser Yachts and Fine Focus Ltd.
