Azimut has announced that its vessel Grande 35, has been sold to a Middle Eastern owner and is now under construction, due to be delivered in early 2017.
The announcement was made last week during a press conference at Cannes Yachting Festival. Upon her delivery, the Grande 35 will become the flagship yacht for the Azimut Yachts range.
She will feature two beach clubs; one located in the stern and one in the bow, and a side-loading garage with storage for both a tender and Jet Ski. On the upper deck will be either an open flybridge or enclosed skylounge.
Azimut has not yet confirmed the specifics in terms of layout and engine, but the yard did reveal that the main-deck master suite will be fitted with what it claims to be the largest fold-out superyacht terrace on the market.
The Grande 35 will have a carbon-fibre superstructure with a fast planing hull. The yard has also taken steps to reduce noise and vibration, allowing for a quieter and more comfortable experience on board.
Paolo Vitelli, president of Aximut-Benetti Group commented, “We have never stopped investing all our resources in the product, and the market recognises this in the form of sales. I feel proud of the more than two thousand people who work in the group.”
