Azimut Yachts launches new Atlantis 43 sport cruiser

Azimut Yachts, the luxury Italian yacht builder, has launched a new sport cruiser yacht in its’ Atlantis range.

The Atlantis 43 premiered at the Dusseldorf Boat Show 2015 last month alongside the Azimut Flybridge 80, Azmiut Flybridge 50, Azimut 55S and Azmiut Magello 43 in an exciting worldwide launch ceremony. Its overall length is 13.86m, and it boasts a maximum beam of 4.25m, and a displacement of 13.3 tonnes at full load.

Azimut Yachts, which also owns the Benetti shipyard, used designer Italian fabrics from Missoni Home, Armani and Loro Piania Interiors, making the Atlantis 43 a luxurious addition to yachts in its class. Neo Design undertook interior and exterior design in collaboration with the Azimut in-house team.

The interior showcases impressive Italian design and interior décor with a state-of-the-art galley and two cabins with great views and lots of natural light.

The yacht provides accommodation for up to seven guests in all, with the guest cabin housing twin beds that can slide together to make a Queen size bed with a third optional. The master cabin has spacious features while still allowing for an intimate feeling – the highlight of the interior designers’ work.

She offers plenty of interior and exterior room alike, acting as a base for all ‘outdoor activities’, such as surfing and swimming. There is an open garage with a motor boat that can be launched for ship to shore excursions while guests can enjoy the sunpads, bathing platforms and wet bar.

Powering the hull are two Volvo Penta D6 Stern Drive engines that provide 400mHP (294kW) of propulsion, allowing her to reach a maximum speed of up to 36 knots, with a cruising speed of 30 knots.

The launch of this model comes alongside news of Azmiut’s plans to strengthen their distribution network in Europe with their new Official Dealership Agreement allowing the shipyard to be closer to the end customer.
