Baglietto announces first 46m FAST superyacht is soon to be launched

Baglietto has announced that the inaugural vessel in its new all-aluminium FAST line of boats is scheduled to be launched from its La Spezia shipyard facility in one month’s time.

An evolution of the yacht builder’s previous superyacht models, the 46m motoryacht has been designed in collaboration with Francesco Paszowski Design. 

Currently still referred to her build name, Hull #10221, she has been styled with a streamlined bow and imposing stern, as well as alternate trapezoidal and rectangular windows. 

Baglietto said of the design, “When designing this new vessel, great care was devoted to maximising the outdoor areas, so as to allow passengers to be in closer contact with the sea when both cruising and at anchor, and to enjoy conviviality in the open air. 

“The aft area of the upper deck is indeed like a huge open terrace overlooking the sea; featuring teak floors, it can be furnished with a large table and a spacious sunbathing area.”

Hull 10221 accommodates guests over a traditional four-cabin layout, with three en-suite cabins on the lower deck and a large master suite on the main deck. She will house nine crew members on-board.

The 46m is currently awaiting the finalisation of her interior outfitting, which has been styled by Margherita Casprini in collaboration with Paszowski. Her design utilises warm shades of rosewood to contrast with a lacquered ceiling and side panels creating a chic and sophisticated environment. 

Powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 engines, the first FAST superyacht will have a top speed of 28 knots and will be MCA-compliant. 

More information is expected to be released about her April launch in the coming weeks.
