Baltic Yachts has delivered its newest sailing superyacht, 39m My Song.
My Song is a Baltic 130 Custom, with exterior design by Nauta Design, and hull lines completed by naval architects, Reichel-Pugh. My Song is a single-masted yacht built in carbon-fibre, featuring a wide stern and plumb bow, as requested by her new owner, a regatta sailor.
On board, My Song’s interior was also completed by Nauta Design, and features a full-beam master suite, two en-suite guest cabins, and a studio which can be converted into a guest cabin. There are also three cabins for crew as well as a cockpit, saloon and galley.
Henry Hawkins, CEO at Baltic Yachts commented, “Our reputation for precision building in lightweight carbon with every component weighed and factored into the design, has enabled displacement to be kept to the 105-tonne target, providing the ideal platform for a high performance cruiser/racer.”
My Song has an average cruising speed of 16.5 knots and maximum speed of 30 knots, when regatta racing. She is powered by a single Caterpillar 8.7 diesel engine, driving a retractable propeller which can be turned through 90 degrees.
Mario Pedol from Nauta Design added, “The team designed and engineered the deck, interior and hull for top performance, with no compromise on comfort or aesthetics using lightweight materials and innovative construction methods.
“The owner is both a very experienced yachtsman and a very loyal client and friend. All of us are very happy with My Song.”
