Italian shipyard Benetti has announced the launch of its new custom-build 45m displacement motoryacht, Domani.
Built at Benetti’s Viareggio shipyard before being launched in Livorno, Benetti revealed that Domani will be delivered to a long-standing client of the brand, who has three other Benetti yachts in his portfolio.
In a statement, Benetti described the client as an “expert sailor, who loves cruising with his family around the world.” The owner collaborated with Benetti throughout the project, from the first sketches right up until launch.
Domani’s external design is formed of steel and aluminium, and was completed by Benetti’s in-house team. Her interior was designed by Carlo Galeazzi, with collaboration from the owner and his design team.
Benetti describes Domani’s efficient use of space as “one of the peculiarities of this 500GT full displacement yacht.” Her unit construction was built on the technical platform of FB700, to enable reduced delivery time.
Her design is also described as providing a sensation of luminosity and space, with standout features including the owner’s cabin balcony, and a sky lounge on the upper deck with a full height and full width (approx. 8m) glass door, to create a unique indoor-outdoor effect.
Until now, the construction of Domani has been a closely kept secret, however Benetti has revealed that further details would be announced later in the year.
