Limited details are known about Project FB273, which has been signed for by an owner with “experience in the nautical sector”, but it is known that she will be designed by Benetti’s in-house design team in collaboration with Michele Guerrieri to be Lloyd’s Registered.
The FB273 is the fifth contract to be signed by Benetti for a superyacht of more than 50m LOA in the past year, and the 18th contract that the brand has signed in total over the past 12 months.
Fabio Ermetto, chief commercial officer of Benetti said, “Benetti has consolidated its reputation as a reference point for all those owners with vast experience in the nautical sector – as with the owner of FB273 – that turn us to satisfy very special requests for specific designs, while never compromising the highest levels of operation and performance.
“Commercial success is added to ever-improving production capability, confirming that Benetti is the world’s unchallenged leader of top yachting.”
FB273 will accommodate her guests across seven spacious cabins and will be powered by twin CAT 3512C engines. She will be built at Benetti’s yard in Livorno, Italy, and delivered in 2019.
