Benetti holds launch ceremony for 49-metre superyacht Elaldrea+

Italian yard Benetti has delivered 49-metre (161-foot) displacement yacht Elaldrea+ during a launch ceremony held at its facility in Viareggio.

Elaldrea+ is constructed from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and is painted in “pearly white with silver accents” for an “iridescent effect”, with exterior design having been implemented by Argentinian designer Horacio Bozzo.

Benetti’s in-house team oversaw her interior design, where the main lounge has been split into a lounge and dining area populated with owner-chosen brands including Poltrona Frau, Giorgetti, Softhouse and Arketipo.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, comprising two VIP cabins and two double cabins on the lower deck – all of which include private bathrooms and showers.

The owners’ suite is situated on the main deck and boasts two dressing tables, two bathrooms sharing a central shower, a private balcony and an office.

The crew quarters allow for up to 10 staff across five cabins, including private cabins for both the captain and the chief engineer.

Among the superyacht’s key features are a seawater swimming pool on the upper deck and a panoramic freshwater swimming pool on the sun deck.

Power comes from a pair of MTU 12V engines, allowing for a top speed of 14 knots and cruising speed of 13.5 knots.
