Burgess signs 55.4m superyacht Turquoise for sale after recent refit

Burgess Yachts has this week signed Turquoise, a 55.4-metre Proteksan Turquoise superyacht for sale as central agents after her recent H2 Yacht Design refit.

Built at the Proteksan Turquoise shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey in 2011, the yacht was unveiled last year with a dramatic new look after her extensive refit by award-winning H2 Yacht Design, which incorporated an interior and sun deck redesign. It was after this refit that she was nominated as a finalist in the refit category of the 2015 World Superyacht Awards.

The main guest areas of Turquoise now carry a relaxing colour palette of silver, cream, white, grey and subtle turquoise tones that blend together across a range of textures and fabrics, enhanced by glossy Ebony Macassar wood.

She has an open plan interior with formal dining room for up to 14 guests, and a full-size cocktail bar. The main saloon leads out to a new outdoor ‘Nikki Beach’ style cinema on the aft deck, where modular furniture can be coordinated into an expansive seating plan to suit any occasion. The sky lounge above brings in plenty of natural light, and houses a grand piano and large plasma screen with further seating. Here, doors slide open onto a shaded aft deck dining area with banquette seating around the stern.

The refit provided six newly appointed guest cabins, accommodating up to 12 guests. The full-beam master suite, approached via a private study forward on the main deck, has been reconfigured to maximise space and features Shoji screens, leather wall panels and a full-width marble bathroom with bath tub and rain shower.

The double VIP suite is also on the main deck, while the lower deck houses the four further en-suite guest cabins; two doubles, one twin and one adaptable double that converts into a twin when required.

Turquoise is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual systems throughout, including Kaleidescape and Airplay technology, and holds a wide range of water toys. The hull is equipped with Quantam zero speed stabilisers and 1,500hp Caterpillar engines which give her a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.

The Turquoise charter yacht is now for sale with Burgess at an asking price of €28, 950,000.
