Carry on Carrie – superyacht chief stewardess joins Yachting Pages’ sales team

Former chief stewardess and successful sales executive, Carrie Stocker, has recently joined the expanding sales team at UK Bristol-based firm, Yachting Pages.

Yachting Pages is the world’s leading superyacht directory, published in three regional editions and with thousands of listings available to browse in print, digibook and online formats.

Carrie has several years’ experience working in sales and account management, having worked extensively with C-Level executives from a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies in previous roles.

Carrie said, “My forte lies in bringing together solution providers and decision makers at the highest level, to broker mutually beneficial deals.

“I feel that my years in the industry – I was chief stew aboard 50-metre-plus superyachts – will stand me in very good stead at Yachting Pages. I am au fait with the individuals, businesses and destinations that matter throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean and South Pacific.”

Carrie is looking forward to using her skills and knowledge to help superyacht businesses maximise their exposure in Yachting Pages, growing their businesses to the next level. She added, “I’m excited to work with such an industry-recognised publication, especially one that I referred to frequently throughout my yachting career.”

Yachting Pages is currently finalising its events schedule for the year. Its marketing and sales teams will be visiting or exhibiting at the world’s most prestigious boat shows including the Dubai International Boat Show in March, the Antibes Yacht Show in April, and the yacht shows of Monaco and Cannes in September.

Ian Jones, sales manager said, “Carrie couldn’t have arrived at a better time.  The 2013-2014 print directories are approaching their deadlines so, with her help, we aim to tie up a record number of deals before going to print.  With her contacts, she’ll also be a huge asset at the shows.”
