Guernsey-based CESG Limited has undergone a rebrand and will now be known as Voyonic Crewing Limited, effective immediately. The decision to rename comes as the company celebrates its 11th anniversary and stems from a desire to better represent its “ambition and vision for the future”.
Utilising a more aesthetic and meaningful company name, the crew employment firm feels the new branding underlines its ‘vibrancy’ and ‘commitment’ to clients as they set about their voyages around the world. Meanwhile, the logo is designed to reaffirm the company’s loyalty to the marine industry – its shape is based upon a specific vessel hull form.
Voyonic, as it will be known for short, will roll out its new branding over the coming weeks.
Originally founded in February 2007 as CESG Guernsey, the company set about delivering robust and efficient employment/HR & payroll solutions that were fully compliant with all appropriate tax and social security legislation. The business has experienced continuous growth in the decade since, attracting an array of discerning clients who value the company’s “only-client” treatment.
A change of ownership in 2015 led to a first name change, but the quick management buyout resulted in a convenient and practical switch to CESG Ltd ahead of a more conceptual idea.
In a statement discussing the new change to Voyonic, chief executive Neil Carrington said, “As we now reach the company’s 11th anniversary, the decision has been taken to address the name issue and so allow the company to develop strategically with a name chosen to show the company ambition and vision for the future.
“Our new branding will be as Voyonic and therefore, with effect from 20th February, CESG Limited will become Voyonic Crewing Limited.”
