Continued growth forces Burgess to relocate to larger premises

UK-based superyacht service provider Burgess, is moving its headquarters from its premises in Pall Mall, London to the nearby Regent Street. The move, says Burgess, is in response to continued growth over the last decade.

Burgess provides a full range of superyacht services, including brokerage, charter, charter management, technical services, yacht management, crew services, insurance and marketing. Over 75 of the 180-team members employed by Burgess are based in the London office, including the company’s senior administration and financial staff.

Jonathan Beckett, CEO at Burgess commented, “The industry is currently in a very interesting cycle, so the move to larger premises nearby is an exciting step for us. Not only will the move allow us to keep pace with the developing needs of the business, but the new environment will be beneficial for team building which is an important factor in the DNA of Burgess.”

Burgess claims to have enjoyed “unmitigated success” in all divisions over the last decade, enabling strong organic growth. A substantial volume of international transactions is processed through the company’s London office, which is an important hub for its core brokerage and charter operations.

Burgess’s new London address is Cunard House, 15 Regent Street, St James’s, London SW1Y 4LR.
