Benetti’s new motor yacht, Seasense, was launched this week at Benetti’s Livorno shipyard. The 67-metre steel and aluminium project FB268 is the first Benetti superyacht for the experienced owner, to whom the vessel will be delivered in July 2017.
Seasense marks the first time Benetti has worked alongside Cor D. Rover, the Dutch designer responsible for the exterior lines of the project. Los Angeles design studio AREA was selected by the owner for the interior design of the yacht, which will accommodate up to 12 guests.
The exterior design is unusual for a Benetti yacht, and the craft contains a number of features. A large pool on the main deck complements a spacious outdoor area on board, and oversized sliding doors connect the outside to the main saloon.
With twin Caterpillar engines, Seasense will reach a top speed of 15.5 knots and achieve a range of 5000nm at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
