Corbeau Seats and Glider Yachts partner for SS18

Luxury yacht manufacturer, Glider Yachts Limited, has announced that British motor racing and renowned luxury car seating market leader, Corbeau Seats Ltd will become the company’s exclusive sports seating and interior finishes partner.

Globally renowned as the ‘seat of choice’ for luxury cars and motorsport enthusiasts, Corbeau was selected to design bespoke interior sports seating and cockpit detailing for Glider Yachts’ first yacht, the SS18, enabling passengers to travel safely in comfort and style.

The SS18 is currently in build, and will be ready for launch at the Monaco Yacht Show next month, held from 23^rd to 26^th September. During the show, exclusively invited visitors will be able to experience Corbeau’s luxury detailing in the vessel.

The SS18 luxury sports seats will subtly incorporate Glider Yachts’ ‘Atlantic Blue’ colouring in soft leather for the seat outers, with light blue quilted alcantara inners. The leather cockpit lining will be fully coordinated with the seating in pale blue, with a touch of grey to contrast the alcantara fabric.

According to Glider Yachts, the SS18 sports seats will give owners the ultimate in comfort and safety. The sports seats feature a moulded foam cushion, bolster and a lumber support to give passenger’s comfort, as well as ensuring no lateral support is lost. The seats are also fitted with a single reclining and tilting mechanism for individual comfort and ease of adjustment.
