CRN unveils its new AlfaRosso explorer yacht concept

Italy-based shipyard CRN has unveiled its new AlfaRosso concept - an innovative explorer yacht available in three lengths: 45 metres (148 feet), 50 metres (164 feet) and 55 metres (180 feet).

Designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, the 45-metre model has been intended for an owner who loves long voyages to remote places. The AlfaRosso concept “finds expression in a displacement yacht where contact with nature is elemental”, according to the shipyard.

Stefano De Vivo, CRN’s chief commercial officer, stated, “We are excited to continue our collaboration with a dynamic industry leader like Francesco Paszkowski Design. CRN has been a pioneer in the explorer vessel sector, adding an important new chapter to yachting history.”

AlfaRosso’s design features a unique hull profile and sharp, clean lines which pair perfectly with bright, open spaces and outstanding interior comfort. The stern, lower-deck, and main-deck areas also boast a singular design, and standout features aboard the vessel include the pool and the extensive terraces and windows – some of which span floor to ceiling, offering a panoramic experience.

The yacht also features impressive continuity between interiors and exteriors, with open-step stairs linking the various decks, and a flush-deck pool on the main level. The yacht’s tender and toys are stowed in the bow area to help keep the terraces clear and enhance the seamlessness of AlfaRosso.

Designer Francesco Paszkowski added, “Power on the water and a sensation of merging with the surrounding space are the keys to this design. AlfaRosso’s sharply defined architectural geometries embrace large indoor guest areas with generous windows that give a strong sense of continuity between inside and outside.

“Remarkable open-air spaces, conceived as grand terraces gazing on to the sea linked by open-step stairs, lend the entire design a sense of gossamer lightness, where the use of teak provides the link between tradition and innovation. Working with a historic yard like CRN has always been a great source of pride for our studio. Being able to create a new project backed by their proven expertise and solid know-how once again has been an inspiring experience.”
