Double award-winning sailing yacht, Selene is sold

Yacht broker, Alex Lees-Buckley has reported the successful sale of the double-award-winning Selene, a 56m sailing yacht. This will be the third large sailing yacht acquired from Camper & Nicholsons by her new owner, a multi-repeat client who will remain with the charter marketing department in Monaco.

Built in 2007, Selene was winner of Boat International and Showboats 2008 Best Interior Design awards.  Her exterior and elegant interior design by Perini Navi, offer large spaces and have been well maintained throughout her life so far.

The art deco inspired interior can accommodate up to 12 guests in five cabins, including a full-beam master suite and room for up to nine crew members.

Selene is the first sailing yacht to include two swim platforms, which benefits from ease of access via the aft deck stairs, complemented by the side access for tenders and jet skis.  Her deck areas offer custom Jacuzzi and covered seating area on the top deck.

Her new owners, who built their current and multi-award-winning 53m Perini Navi ‘Parsifal III’ with Alex Lees-Buckley, have been with Camper & Nicholsons since 1993 and have decided to continue with the charter marketing department in Monaco.  Under her new ownership, Selene will be renamed ‘Parsifal IV’, and will also benefit from an interior refit by designer Remi Tessier.
