The 23rd edition of the Dubai International Boat Show will get underway tomorrow, with one billion AED worth of boats on display as well as a wide range of activities including water sports, prize giveaways and live entertainment.
Tens of thousands of visitors from over 120 countries are set to stream through the gates of the region’s largest marine leisure exhibition, held from 3rd to 7th March 2015 at the Dubai International Marine Club - Mina Seyahi.
Dubai International Boat Show visitors will be indulged by 430 boats on land and water, as well as products and services from more than 800 international and regional brands and companies exhibiting at the show.
Also this year, copies of the Superyacht Owners' Guide can be found on the FunAir stand L-234. The FunAir team will also be on the stand to show off a range of their customised and adrenaline-pumping inflatable water toys for superyachts.
DIBS also features new sections in the outdoor display for DIBS sailing, DIBS fishing, and DIBS water sports as the popularity of these activities continues to soar in the region. The marine talks zone gives visitors the opportunity to pick up tips and hear stories from global sailing, fishing and water sports experts.
Now even easier than ever to attend, free parking is available at Nakheel Gateway Tower, with direct tram transfer from Nakheel to Mina Seyahi Station every six minutes, or free shuttle buses to DIMC. Alternatively visitors can go to Skydive Dubai where an improved service with increased frequency will allow transfer by water buses for free with their DIBS ticket.
Organisers have also been working together with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Police to ensure a smooth flow of traffic in the area. A newly built, dedicated road for VIPs and Majlis guests is available ahead of the main entrance, which will lead directly to the VIP and Majlis parking area and provide easy access to the show.
At the outdoor marina display, visitors will be wowed by the superyacht life area where the prestigious Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) will showcase the superyacht lifestyle and provide a platform for the world’s leading superyacht builders.
The show will host over 45 global and regional launches including a 30m superyacht from Al Shaali Marine, the Majesty 122 by Gulf Craft, an Iguana Boats debut and several new vessels in the Azimut series by Seas and Deserts.
Trixie LohMirmand, senior vice president of Dubai World Trade Centre, the exhibition’s organiser commented, “The Dubai International Boat Show 2015 is perfect for a family day out with an exciting range of prize giveaways and activities taking place amidst the world’s most exclusive boats and maritime brands on display.
