Edmiston 'pop up' office to open in Montenegro

With the Mediterranean yachting season already underway, leading charter and brokerage company Edmiston has announced that they will be setting up a pop-up office at Porto Montenegro. The office will be offering a variety of superyachts for charter from the port, including M/Y Mariu and S/Y Whirlwind.

Rory Trahair, head of marketing at Edmiston commented, “We have seen a huge growth in charter bookings in the area and are thrilled to have been invited to open a temporary base here. With more enquiries year after year about chartering in Montenegro and Croatia, we’re certain that we can support the substantial growth this region is witnessing.”

Edmiston will be hoping to benefit from the array of events and festivals taking place at the marina this summer, with a diverse series of exclusive events announced to entertain residents and visitors alike. From piano concertos and a new nightclub, to foodie fairs and wine exhibitions, there appears to be something for everyone. Not to mention two world-class boat races and the much anticipated opening of the Regent Porto Montenegro Hotel & Residences on Friday 1st August.

After the recently completed expansion of the marina, it is able to cater for a wider collection of superyachts; berth capacity has increased from 250 to 430 yachts ranging from 12 to 75 metres.
