Ferretti Group launches first Custom Line Navetta 42

Italian shipyard Ferretti Group has launched Navetta 42, its latest Custom Line flagship and third launch of the month so far.

The Navetta 42 is the first Custom Line superyacht weighing more than 300GT and was launched on the 7th June at Ferretti’s yard in Ancona. She follows the recent launches of the fifth Custom Line Navetta 37 and the fourth Custom Line Navetta 33.

Ferretti’s latest offering is the result of a two-year-plus design process between the Product Strategy Committee (led by Piero Ferrari), the Group Engineering Department, and Studio Zuccon International Project.

Interiors and exteriors of the Navetta 42 are able to be extensively customised by owners, with generous spaces inside and out allowing for unparalleled flexibility. She spans four decks, blending a mixture of privacy and comfort, with outdoor areas taking advantage of the spacious blueprint.

The main deck features an immense owner’s suite, with four large VIP suites located on the lower deck. Additionally, the captain can enjoy a spacious living area forward on the upper deck – complete with private cabin and easy access to the main helm station.

In a statement, the superyacht’s new Italian owner commented, “Navetta 42 is a wonderful dream come true: a maxi yacht built with the care of a tailor-made suit. It wasn’t easy in a boat this size to combine function with aesthetic form, using every possible space available, but the end result is fantastic. I want to thank the architect and the whole Custom Line team for having successfully translated my desires into style and beauty. Navetta 42 is a unique work of yacht building artistry, one that I feel is truly my own.”

Three further Navetta 42 units are already under construction. The first model in the range will be given a full public debut at Cannes Yachting Festival in September, and she will also be showcased at Monaco Yacht Show later that month.
