Filippetti has announced the launch of the first unit in its F93 series, measuring 28m long.
The new launch is the result of a collaboration between Filippetti Yacht and designer Fulvio de Simoni, and features an all-GRP construction and fast-planing hull. Simoni designed the interior and exterior of the yacht.
According to Filippetti, the F93 is highly customised, with a sporty character featuring sleek and slender external lines. The flybridge is considered to be her “most impressive area”, measuring 43sqm. At the request of the owner, Filippetti replaced her traditional hard top with a removable soft top, which the yacht builder says emphasises the sleek and sporty lines of the vessel.
Other features on board include a large solarium and a retractable glass window which merges the salon with the sun deck, creating a large area which combines both the interior and exterior of the yacht.
The interior design features lacquered wood with mixed grey tonesand oak parquet flooring. Accommodation allows for up to eight guests split across four cabins, including an amidships master suite. Each cabin is customised according to the owner’s tastes. Crew accommodation is located back aft of the yacht, with room for a staff of three.
The F93 is powered by two MTU diesel engines, combined with Arneson surface drives allowing her to reach a cruising speed of 25 knots, and an overall top speed of 31 knots. She is now due to undergo sea trials before being delivered to her North American owner.
