Mayte Bruguera, the managing director of Barcelona Crew, a leading crew agent for the superyacht industry, has been asked to teach students in the first post graduate course to focus on nautical tourism for luxury cruise ships and yachts in Spain.
Mayte is a founding team member of the lecturers of the first post graduate course, with course start dates confirmed for January 2015. It will be taught in both Catalan and Spanish and is the first of its kind in Spain to focus on purely cruise ships, yachts and nautical tourism.
The course is designed and managed by EUM Tecnocampus and UPF University of Barcelona. Spaces are still available with the deadline for registration set for 12th December 2014.
Barcelona Crew is the first agency in Barcelona dedicated to providing customised services in the recruitment of qualified personnel for the tourism, hospitality, cruise and luxury yacht industries.
They have more than 15 years’ experience in global recruitment, working in a multinational environment, focused on the hotel and maritime industry. They are already training crew and placing them on board superyachts and luxury cruise ships and now they are taking this one step further by teaching a postgraduate course for other professionals.
