Monte Carlo Yachts have announced that they have sold the first three units in the new MCY96 series. Measuring 29m, the model sits in the middle of the range from an LOA perspective, between the MCY86 and the MCY105, and is due for launch in July.
Carla Demaria, president of Monte Carlo Yachts said, “The new MCY 96 represents both continuity and evolution for the MCY collection and the company. The great international success and global appeal of the MCY 105 has guided us in developing the MCY 96, which will set new standards and mark a new era of growth in the superyacht segment for Monte Carlo Yachts.
“The design is again familiar with a two deck layout and sizable flybridge/sundeck. The first unit in the new GRP MCY96 series is expected to be launched in July and completed for the summer period and make her debut later in the year. There are more new models on the horizon planned for MCY yachts.”
The exterior and interior styling work was handled by designers Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard, in line with their work on previous models in the range.
In July 2016, Monte Carlo Yachts launched the first hull in the MCY80 line in Trieste, Italy. The launch came two months after the delivery of an MCY105 model, named G, to her owner in Hong Kong.
