G Marine and Fairline announce continued relationship

American yacht broker G Marine has announced its continued relationship with UK yacht builder Fairline Yachts.

Re-branded as Fairline Yachts, after being acquired by new Russian investors last month, the yacht builder had previously been represented in Florida by G Marine. Together, both brands will present two popular 38-78m models at this week’s Yachts Miami Beach; the 48 Targa Open and the 53 Targa.

The Targa 53 is the latest yacht in the production line, and has a tapered hull with Volvo Penta D-11 engines, able to reach a speed of up to 32 knots. She offers one double guest cabin and twin cabin, with an electric hardtop for sun or shade, and a range of features are able to be customised to the owner’s taste, including engine types, stabilisation systems and optional crew quarters.

The Targa 48 Open is a sports cruiser, also able to reach 32 knots with Volvo Penta IPS600 engines. Able to sleep up to five guests, she has a submersible swim platform and garage with room for water toys or diving and snorkelling equipment.

In a statement, Fairline Yachts announced that it is re-evaluating the market, and planning its new focus as yachting styles continue to evolve. Miles Moorhouse, marketing manager at Fairline Yachts, commented, “Fairline has extremely well-designed, engineered and built yachts that are timeless in style.

“South Florida is among the largest of the leisure boat markets and we are keen to continue the long-term relationship with G Marine in Miami. Our dealer network is a key strength for Fairline, and G Marine is one of the ‘crown jewels.’ We appreciate the company’s experience and input, as we focus on developing new and exciting models to the highest standards, as our customers expect and deserve.”

Yachts Miami Beach begins this Thursday, 11th February, running until Sunday, 14th February.
