GBS brings four superyachts to the Mediterranean

It was a sight to see for the local public in Poole, Dorset last weekend, when leading yacht shipping company Global Boat Shipping (GBS) loaded four superyachts ready for transportation to the Mediterranean.

Located on the south coast of England, near Bournemouth, Poole is the renowned home of luxury motorboat manufacturer Sunseeker. The largest yacht to be loaded was a Sunseeker Predator M5 (140t), which was then accompanied by two Sunseeker 28m yachts (each 80t).

The fourth boat to be loaded on to the transport vessel was a 17m yacht from Princess Yachts in Plymouth. The yachts were loaded on board the MV “Eendracht“, a Dutch vessel chartered specifically for this voyage.

All yachts were scheduled for the Mediterranean with two being transported to Nice, France, both of which arrived last weekend. The other two are bound for Malta and are expected to arrive in the middle of this week.

GBS Yacht Transport, organised the transport, supervised the loading of the supercargo, provided the cradles and will also be present during discharging upon arrival.
