Genesis Technologies Marine develops advanced AV entertainment solutions for superyachts

Switzerland-based Genesis Technologies Marine – an international supplier of audio-visual (AV) solutions – has developed an advance solution which ensures the highest quality of AV technology for superyachts.

Traditional fixed architecture AV solutions still dominate installations on many smaller superyachts, even though for current multi-cabin, multimedia solutions they are believed to be flawed.

Genesis Marine has developed an alternative solution that largely resolves these issues. Crew, integrators and shipyards are now able to choose a much more user friendly, time- and space-saving option and get the highest quality AV: network-based AV distribution, or AV over IP.

With almost 30 years of exclusive specialisation in AV, Genesis Marine has built a rich experience of successfully supervising the very first implementations of this AV over IP technology on a few of the largest private superyachts. The company will officially launch this new product during an innovation pitch at Metstrade in Amsterdam this November.

The latest AV product has the unique ability to stream not only the video but also the audio over the IP network, where exclusive features and functions are added to make the user experience very sophisticated throughout the yacht.
