GMC provides Wi-Fi for SYBAss members during FLIBS

Global Marine Communications (GMC) once again is providing Wi-Fi internet services to the Super Yacht Builders Association (SYBAss) at the 2014 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).

GMC supported the SYBAss members last year with their internet needs and will be working with the members again this year.

Costas Charalambous, sales director at GMC said, “We look forward to providing all the members with a Wi-Fi service, as we know very well that internet access is required when you are away from your office, with our service, SYBAss members can enjoy the show and stay in touch with their offices and families.”

A representative of SYBAss said, "We very much appreciate Global Marine Communications providing our members with a complimentary, dedicated Wi-Fi internet connection for the second consecutive year at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

GMC has many years of experience in providing Wi-Fi at boat shows, they began by supplying the exhibitors and press at the Antibes Yacht Show for three years before being asked to supply Wi-Fi to everyone, visitors and exhibitors alike in 2013 and then again in 2014.

GMC implements their bandwidth management tool, B.O.S.S.™ (bandwidth optimiser and service selector), which allows the bandwidth to be optimised by prioritising certain groups/users over subordinate groups/users.

Global Marine Communications has become experts in optimising bandwidth management which depends heavily on the specific users requirements.
