Gold Coast International Marine Expo announces 2015 exhibitors, launches and attractions

Gold Coast International Marine Expo has confirmed that more than 50 percent of its outdoor exhibitor space from 2014 has been sold, less than eight weeks since the announcement of the new event dates in May 2015.

The news comes as the deadline nears for past exhibitors to claim their first right of refusal on their sites across an expanded Expo circuit that will, this year, encompass almost the entire Gold Coast Marine Precinct.

Marine Expo is a massive showcase of all things aquatic, from superyachts to kayaks and jet skis, to fishing equipment and everything in between. In 2015, the show will be held 21st to 24th May, coinciding with the Riviera Festival of Boating and the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

Emma Milne, event and marketing manager commented, “This year the Expo will have new boats, new product launches, new exhibitors, new attractions, and that’s in addition to a new site layout.”

She continued, “We are extremely encouraged by the bookings so far and there’s a long list of new exhibitors interested in sites which have previously been occupied by past exhibitors, so we expect a busy few days leading up to January 30 as people confirm their spaces for 2015.”

Ms Milne confirmed that Australia’s largest aluminum boat-builder, Telwater, will be present to exclusively display all its 2015 Quintrex new model releases, with some 18 new models making their world premiers.

She said, “Quintrex will also have, for the first time at an Australian boat show, one of almost every model in their range”, with over 50 boats on display.

The on-water displays will be spread over three marinas, showcasing many world and Australian premiers from the industry’s leading brands, to be announced in the coming weeks.

Now in it’s fifth year, Expo 2015 will offer interactive entertainment and live demonstrations every 15 minutes across an expanded event site, which includes a 3km-long display circuit, as well as factory tours of the biggest luxury yacht and aluminum boat-building facilities in the southern hemisphere.

The growing list of partners for Expo 2015 includes International Paint, Clipper Motor Yachts, Telwater, Riviera, Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard, NAB, Stefan Boating World and The Boat Works.
