Horizon Yachts receives 10th consecutive “Best Asian Yacht Builder” award

Horizon Yachts has announced that the company recently received its 10th consecutive “Best Asian Yacht Builder” award (25m+) at the 2015 Asia Boating Awards, held on the 1^st May at the Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel. John Lu, CEO, was also recognised as the “Personality of the Year” during the event.  

John accepted the award in person and commented, “It’s a great honor to receive these two awards. Horizon is dedicated to providing high-quality luxury yachts to clients around the world, and our hard work has resulted in Horizon becoming a well-known yacht brand on a global scale. Founded in 2005, the Asia Boating Awards is hosted by two famous yacht magazines, Asia Pacific Boating and China Boating. The “Best Asian Yacht Builder” award recognises shipyards and their achievements within the Asia yachting industry through awards such as “Best Marina,” “Best Yacht Club,” and “Best Regatta.” This event celebrated its 11th year this year, and Horizon Yachts’ win of “Best Asian Yacht Builder” for the 10th consecutive year is a record within the Asian yachting industry.      

Founded in 1987, Horizon Yachts is the fifth largest custom luxury yacht builder, with popular models ranging from 52 to 150 feet.
