In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
New Turkish yard HSY Yachts has announced its debut 56m model is due to launch in the summer of 2019.
The Antalya-based yard will build the tri-deck yacht for an experienced American client, who was introduced by the Unique Yacht Design studio.
Naval architecture will be carried out by the in-house team at HSY Yachts, while Caterpillar will be providing the engines. The exterior design, by Unique Yacht Design, is described as “sharp and purposeful” with a white aluminium superstructure and cream hull finish.
Emrecan Özgün, owner and creative director at Unique Yacht Design, said, “This project is the best combination between classic superyacht lines with futuristic surfaces. When you start to read the surfaces you can feel the future of yacht design, sharp but smooth.”
Accommodation for 12 guests is split over three decks, with a full-beam owner’s cabin on the main deck. Six crew cabins are located on the lower deck, bringing the total staff capacity to 11.
No interior renderings have been released yet, but several rectangular portholes suggest that the interior will be flooded with natural light. Tinted floor to ceiling glazing on the main and upper decks allow for great views out to sea without compromising on privacy.
The HSY debut also features an elevator to provide easy access from the lower deck all the way up to the sundeck and its spa pool, while the foredeck storage boasts enough room to house multiple tenders and Jet Skis.
