Hydraulique ram Jam-Trimmer launched for sheets and halyards

Hydraulique Mediterranee, the Antibes based, hydraulics maintenance and fabrication company, has announced the launch of its Jam-Trimmer onto the market.

The Jam­-Trimmer is a hydraulic ram with a releasable jammer attached, helping the fine trimming of sheets and halyards particularly when used with captive winch systems.

The Jam-Trimmer is also useful with blocked halyard on superyachts wishing to trim the luff of their sails during regattas without having to dismount the end fitting.

On self-tacking jibs the Jam-Trimmer helps fine tune the sail without using the captive winch and allows precise trimming.

Exclusively hydraulic, the Jam-Trimmer can be entirely integrated into the manual or push button control panel of the ship's hydraulic system.
