Barcelona-based yacht cleaning company INTELblast continues to grow in the superyacht industry with the announcement of a series of completed projects.
The company, who use a variety of unique techniques in their cleaning services, has been busy working on a number of marine as well as industrial projects. The marine services division at INTELblast recently sponge jet blasted the black water tank of 49.50m S/Y Eleonora in Port Tarraco, Tarragona to a SA 2.5 standard.
They also aluminium silicate blasted the faring compound, rust and steel to an SA 2.5 standard on 71m M/Y Skat for Teak Solutions during a teak refit whilst the yacht was in Valencia.
INTELblast’s industrial cleaning division has just started working in the powder paint manufacturing plant of Akzo Nobel in Vallirana, Barcelona, carrying out the dry ice blasting of cyclones.
The industrial cleaning division also carried out four weeks of cryogenic blasting in the SEAT manufacturing plant in Martorell, Spain during the summer shut down period in August 2014, cleaning a wide variety of elements including KUKA Welding Robots.
INTELblast’s Industrial cleaning division also spent the August bank holiday (Spanish holiday) dry ice blasting in the Nissan manufacturing plant in Zona Franca, Barcelona, cleaning transport drive chains.
