Invictus reveals new details of 370GT Special Edition collaboration with Anna Fendi

Invictus Yacht has revealed new details of its 370GT Special Edition, designed in partnership with fashion stylist Anna Fendi.

The project combines all the distinguishing features of the Italian yard’s original 370GT, unveiled at the 2016 Cannes Yachting Festival to great acclaim, with an additional layer of exclusivity implemented by Fendi and Christian Grande, the principle designer of the Invictus range.

Conceived as a deluxe dayboat for overnight cruising, the 370GT Special Edition can also serve as a superyacht tender or chase boat. Fendi and Grande have transformed the styling by introducing a colour palette of contrasting black and white tones for the furnishings and fabrics, with four unique layout options available to any potential owners.

Among the key interior features include opaque and polished finishes throughout, which add warmth and texture to the monochrome tones, while Fendi has introduced design motifs borrowed from leather goods and travel cases.

The wardrobe in the owner’s cabin is styled to resemble a classic travel case and is finished in a combination of nappa and glossy black leather with metallic detailing. The dinette furniture is presented in a similar fashion, with storage for wine bottles, glassware and bespoke tableware under its lifting top.

The exterior cockpit boasts the same attention to detail, with the teak decking with ivory caulking laid out in a herringbone pattern, and the sofas decorated with black leather belts and buckles embossed with the Anna Fendi signature.

Discussing the inspiration behind her interior styling, Fendi commented, “Following a precise colour scheme and using materials not usually found in the yachting world, I tried to decorate this little sea-borne jewel in a very special way and with a strong personality.

“I’ve always adored yachts of this size; they have an intrinsic sense of proportion, with an intimate and adventurous feel. With Christian, we tried to study every single detail and create something beautiful and very functional.”

Grande added, “The Special Edition emerged from an exchange of creative ideas between myself and Anna Fendi. The resulting alchemy combined both our styles in perfect harmony and the end product is a truly beautiful yacht that responds to a specific niche in the market.”
