JFA Yachts has recently announced that they have signed a contract for completing, testing and delivering a 135’ motor yacht from Overing Yacht Design.
This project is now quite advanced; the steel hull and aluminium superstructure are completed, painting treatment is underway and a large part of interior is prefabricated. However, there is still 30% to be built, with the electrical wiring and piping installed, but yet to be connected.
The yacht offers five guest cabins situated on the lower deck (three double cabins and two twin beds cabins). The owner’s suite is on the main deck and uses the full beam of the boat. 15 large windows offer exceptional light to this large area of 80 square metres which corresponds to the area that can be found on 60m motor yachts. This suite contains the owner cabin, two bathrooms, a large dressing room and a saloon/owners office. The main saloon with dining area is situated aft on the main deck and opens to the outside saloon and swim platform.
Michael Kirschstein gave a classical ambiance to this interior enhanced with coloured fabrics and granite for galley and bathroom worktops. This yacht also offers large outside areas including a vast flybridge with a Jacuzzi, bar and saloon, with the two tenders are stored on the upper deck.
Regarding technical aspects, the boat is equipped with a Caterpillar engine that gives 7,000 nautical miles of range at 10 knots and is equipped with an elaborate zero speed stabiliser for four wings.
The delivery is programmed for 2015.
