Kenyon International, a global leader in marine cooking appliances, has announced it has received the ISO 9001:2008 certification for the design and distribution of its products.
The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is a network of national standards institutes from 163 countries working in partnership with international organisations, governments, industries, businesses and consumer representatives.
Certifications to ISO 9001:2008 require an accredited third party auditing organisation to thoroughly review the company’s internal quality management system processes, to ensure that they are capable of consistently delivering a service that meets customers’ needs and expectations.
Phil Williams, president of Kenyon International commented, “Though recently certified, the ISO Quality Management System (QMS) standard has been the basis for Kenyon’s internal QMS for a number of years, as many of its customers are in highly regulated industries, which require their own compliance standards.”
Phil continued, “As one of the leading cooking appliance providers, it is quite natural that we are at the forefront in achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification and as a strategic partner to our customers, it is only fitting that we help them save time and money by officially becoming certified, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to a strong culture of quality.”
With this certification, Kenyon claims it shows their commitment on staying one of the leading companies of innovation and high quality cooking products.
