Kleven announces delivery of 116m sister vessel of M/Y Ulysses

Norwegian shipyard Kleven has announced the delivery of its 116m superyacht, the U116 to owner Mr. Graeme Hart.

According to a statement by Kleven, the superyacht left its facility in Ulsteinvik, Norway on the weekend, and is currently headed for Germany where she will undergo her final completion, due to be carried out by mid-2017.

Ståle Rasmussen, CEO of Kleven commented, “It has been a great pleasure working with Mr. Hart and his team on this magnificent project. We highly appreciate the trust they have shown us by placing not just one but two orders with Kleven, in what was a new segment for us.”

The vessel, known as U116, was designed by Norwegian ship designers Marin Teknikk and naval architect Kyle Dick, of New Zealand based Oscar Mike Naval Architects. Known as the sister vessel of 107m M/Y Ulysses, also owned by Hart, she is painted navy blue and was specifically designed for long voyages in rough waters.

The U116 is said to be a larger and more refined version of Ulysses, and embodies a number of the same features as Ulysses, including a large tender bay on the deck area, aggressive expedition styling and go-anywhere capabilities.
