Lady Thuraya available for charter with Northrop & Johnson

Northrop & Johnson, specialist yacht sale and charter brokers, has announced the addition of a new classic Schooner to their charter fleet for the 2015 summer season.

Originally built in 1985, Lady Thuraya, a 30.8-metre (101-foot) Lunstro 2750 Schooner, completed an 18-month refit in 2009 with Verkerk Yachting Projects, which saw her restored from keel to mast before her relaunch on to the charter market.

Formally known as both Borkumrif II and Adelite, Lady Thuraya has been marketed by Northrop as a charter yacht for families and groups of friends who love to sail.

She accommodates up to eight guests across four staterooms, including a master suite forward, and houses up to five crew to ensure a comfortable sailing experience. 

Her interior is contemporary with modern accompaniments, while above board, she offers a large awning for sun protection with several options for al fresco dining aboard.

Powered by a John Deere 300HP engine, she can reach a maximum cruising speed of eight knots.
