Offering a complete turnkey glazing solution to the client, Lewmar produced a full set of laminated glass at their Havant UK facility, before sending a team to install the glass at the Claasen shipyard in Zaandam in the Netherlands.
With a black hull and dark blue underwater segment with white waterline, the latest TC90 is a distinguished design. Like predecessors before her, Keoloha and Atalante, the new TC90 will enjoy dazzling views out from her mahogany interior, this time thanks to Lewmar’s glazing technology.
Anticipated for a spring 2016 launch, she features a varnished teak exterior and a 35.60m keel-stepped carbon mast with four sets of crosstrees. It will be possible to operate all sails from the cockpit, and aboard there is a separate owners’ deckhouse.
Lewmar has also announced that it recently supplied a full set of RINA approved glazing for Sunseeker’s new 116 yacht, which has evolved from the design of Sunseeker’s previous 115 Sport Yacht.
