Lumotics completes challenging refit of 56m Benetti

Lighting specialists, Lumotics Marine has completed a challenging refit project on the 56m Benetti Galaxy in time for its 2014 Mediterranean season. The owner's objective was to refresh the entire yacht, including the replacement of all on-board lighting with LED fittings and the installation of the best possible control systems.

The Lumotics team spent several weeks on board, installing Mood Magic units, Mood Zone controllers and Switch Magic units throughout the yacht. Together with the Crestron iPad app these Lumotics units deliver all the necessary control and monitoring functions for the most sophisticated LED installations. 

With an increasing demand from the start of 2014, Lumotics have announced that they are looking to recruit an apprentice technical engineer. The role will offer the opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of the fast-moving and innovative world of yacht lighting.
